Local Outreach
At Connection Church, we believe that saved people live sent and that every person has a purpose. For us, local outreach is not an event, it’s who we are. We exist to make the gospel visible in our city through proclamation, compassion, and presence. We actively partner with local ministries like:

We don’t just write checks, we show up. Through Prep Week, we go into underserved communities to pray, build relationships, and personally invite people to church. During GO Week, our small groups mobilize to serve alongside our local partners, meeting real needs with the love of Jesus.
We believe the hope of our city is the gospel and as long as one person doesn’t know Christ, we’re not done.
Church Planting
At Connection Church, we believe one of the best ways to live out the Great Commission is through church planting. We believe God’s people should be willing to go wherever the gospel is needed and help start life-giving churches in new communities.
We’re part of the Connection Network which is a family of independent churches partnering together with a shared vision to plant 50 churches by the year 2050. The Network exists to train leaders and help plant, grow, and multiply gospel-centered churches. One of the ways we do this is through our Church Planting Residency. This is where future church planters are invited in, trained and developed as leaders, and taught everything we’ve learned about planting healthy churches. When they’re ready, we send them out with funding, support, and a church planting team to help launch a brand-new church. It’s one of the ways we get to be part of what God is doing far beyond our own city and we love it.

International Missions
At Connection Church, we believe the local church is God’s Plan A to reach the world and there is no Plan B. One of the primary ways we love our world is by planting new churches. Jesus commands us in Matthew 28 to make disciples of all nations, and we believe the gospel is not only for our neighbors, but for every nation on earth. We live with the end in mind, trusting the promise of Revelation 7:9 that one day there will be people from every tribe, nation, and language worshiping before the throne of God. Because of this, we believe every member of Connection Church should be engaged in the mission. While not every believer is called to be a missionary, every believer is called to be a global Christian.
We believe there are five ways to live as a global Christian:
1. Goer: Becoming a missionary who strategically moves amongst the unreached as a missionary on the field.
2. Sender: Becoming a prayer and financial supporter of missionaries on the field by giving to missionaries directly.
3. Welcomer: Becoming involved with welcoming and building relationships with Gospel
intentionality with unreached people groups that live in or near our community.
4. Mobilizer: Become a teacher to others about God’s story of reaching the nations and leveraging influence to mobilize people to learn and become involved in God’s plan to reach the nations.
5. Intercessor: Consistently praying for unreached people groups to be reached,
missionaries to be sent and God to be glorified.
We believe the most beneficial gift to any community is a healthy local church that proclaims and lives out the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are committed to planting churches around the world, with a primary focus on unreached people groups in the 10/40 Window.
Our mission strategy is simple: educate, equip, and engage with the goal of seeing churches planted among the unreached. We believe the local church is responsible for mobilizing and sending missionaries, and we joyfully embrace that calling.
