Why Give to God's Church?

Jesus said that where your treasure is, your heart is there also. What He means is that if our money is our treasure, our heart belongs to our wallets and not to Him. The Bible also speaks about being a good steward of all the blessings God has given you, including your money. So we want to honor Him by giving back a portion of what He has so generously given to us. The old Testament says the tithe is 10% of our income. We believe this is the floor not the ceiling of our giving. Throughout the New Testament, God shows us that we are to live generous lives, giving to God's Church is one way of doing just that.

How do I give?

At Connection we have several ways that you can give.

  • You can give by check or cash on Sundays when the offering is taken during the service.
  • You can mail a check to our main office.
  • You can have a recurring payment setup through your bank.
  • You can setup online giving.

Why Give Online?

Faithfully Honoring God

When you sign up to give online, you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. The Bible teaches that we are to honor God with the “first fruits” of our labor (Proverbs 3:9). By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your first fruits are faithfully given back to God (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).

You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip.

We utilize an encrypted secure website for our giving portal to ensure protection of your sensitive personal information and giving history.

You have the ability to quickly see your online giving history directly through our giving portal instead of having to contact our finance department for a personalized report.

Online Giving Privacy Policies

Your information is held securely in our secure servers. Your information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can schedule new contributions at any time and modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled.
