What is Baptism?

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith. It’s showing everyone that you’ve confessed (you’ve said it out loud) that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart God raised Him from the dead. Baptism is a way to symbolize the death and resurrection of Christ in our lives as believers.

We believe in baptism by submersion in water. All throughout the New Testament, new believers immediately respond in baptism. We believe this is the first step after salvation. We have a culture of celebration when this happens in our church. There's nothing like seeing people profess their new life in Christ with our body. We do baptisms periodically throughout the year.
